Michael Moore

Michael Jerome Moore Sr., 56, of Duluth passed away on Saturday November 24, 2018 in Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center.  He was born on August 8, 1962 to Willie George and Willie Mae Moore Sr in Myrtle Beach, SC.  Michael served in the US Army.  He had worked at the DECC, Radisson, Fond-du-Luth Casino, and the YMCA.  Michael enjoyed watching auto racing, riding his motorcycle, collecting, and he loved time spent with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Willie George Sr., and his beloved dog Princess.

He is survived by his mother Willie Mae Moore, children Michael Moore Jr., Marchel Moore, Tyler Moore, Jason Moore, Daniel Poldoski, Tyshaun Bauers, and Casey Socholotuk, siblings Willie George Moore Jr., Rhunette Evon Moore Cook, and Bruce Moore, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held Noon, Friday November 30, 2018, with Funeral Service starting at 1PM.   Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home.  600 E. 2nd St. Duluth, MN 55805.  218-727-3555.
