James "Jim" Dryke

James R. Dryke, 78, of Duluth passed away March 10, 2019.  Jim was born in Duluth to Roy and Herbena on May 25, 1940.

He enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling.  He enjoyed making items for others in his shop.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family at their cabin.  In his youth he enjoyed rodeo events such as calf roping, barrel racing.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, son, Jack; brother, Bob; and sisters, Raejean (Dryke) Alreck and Donna Dryke.

Jim is survived by his wife, Judy; children Ted, Richard and Cheri.  Grandchildren, Jamie, Amanda, Adam, Nick, Zach, great-grandchildren, Aiden, Aubrey, Eva, Mariah, and Brook.  Siblings Marne, Gwen, Geri, Dan (Eileen), and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday March 18th at 1:00 p.m. and the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. both at Family of God Lutheran Church, 4097 Martin Road, Duluth, MN.
