James Johnson

James Troy Johnson, 54, of Duluth, died Saturday, June 26, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital.  He was born in Duluth on September 27, 1966 to Floyd and Lorraine (Johnson) Johnson.  Jim enjoyed playing the guitar and loved playing hockey.  He loved his grandkids-they were his life.  Always on the go, he was the fun, goofy uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Tammy and Sandy, and brother Donny.  He is survived by his children:  Nicole (Max), Samantha (Tyler) and Troy; nine grandchildren:  Brian, Aiden, Melia, Raiya, Lorraine, Brooke, Madalynn, Finnley and Atticus; sisters:  Jody, Terry and Jackie; brother Richard; and numerous other family.
