Brian Burton

Brian F. Burton, 75, of Canyon, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday May 3, 2019 in St. Luke’s Hospital.  He was born in Hibbing, MN on October 26, 1943 to Carlyle and Beverly Burton.  Brian married Lola Luffey on September 3, 1965 in Brainard, MN.  He had worked for Control Data/Ceridian in Finance until his retirement.  Brian was a member of First Lutheran Church, Fosston Ritz Duck Camp, Lake Nichols Lake Association, and was lead supervisor for Northland Township.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Gail Rusche.

Brian is survived by his wife of 53 years Lola, children Kevin (Mindy) Burton of Loretto, MN, Kelly (Kerry) Love of Lake Stevens, WA, grandchildren Maleah, Heathcliff, and Lola, nieces Leah and Heather Rusche, and a brother-in-law Ray Rusche.

Visitation will be held on Saturday May 11, 2019 from Noon until the 1:00PM Memorial Service in First Lutheran Church.  1100 E.
