Alex Wayne Johnson, 30, of Minneapolis, formerly of Duluth, died unexpectedly on Friday October 9, 2020. He was born in Duluth on January 18, 1990 to Stephanie Swanson and Dale Roland. Alex had attended Denfeld High School. He enjoyed writing music and playing his guitar and working on computers.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Virginia and Wayne Perrault.
He is survived by his mother Stephanie (Robert Krob) Swanson, special people in his life Mike Swanson, Sharon Cozzie and Dale Roland, siblings Angela (Matt) Hart, and Andrew (Becky) Johnson, auntie Michelle (Derek) Petersen, and an uncle Rick Perrault.
Services are pending, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home. 600 E. 2nd St. Duluth, MN 55805. 218-727-3555.
