William Kalkbrenner

William R. Kalkbrenner 77 of Duluth, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 13, 2018.

Bill was born in Duluth on September 27, 1941, to Raymond and Dolores Kalkbrenner.

He graduated from Silver Bay High School in 1960.  In his younger years prior to health issues, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, gold mining and time spent with family and friends. He was an adventurer and never stopped following his dreams.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by, his sons, Timothy, and Michael (Cami); daughter, Jacqueline (Fisher); 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bernard (Mary Lou), Dennis; sister, Patricia (Mike) Gleeson; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be 5-7PM, Monday, December 17, 2018, in the Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E 2nd Street, Duluth, MN 55805.  Visitation will continue, 10AM until the 11AM, Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, December 18, 2018, in St. James Catholic Church, 715 N 57th Ave W, Duluth, MN 55807.
