William B. "Bill" Lind

William B. “Bill” Lind, 83, of Vaux Road, went to be with his lord and savior Jesus on Tuesday April 14, 2026. Born in Duluth on January 28, 1943, Bill always enjoyed the outdoors and the north woods. Often seen walking along highway 53, Bill was always searching for new things to collect and bring to his cozy home. A great friend and kind neighbor, his smile and presence will be missed by many. We rejoice he is now made whole as he joins his Heavenly Father.

Bill was preceded in death his parents, Ellsworth and Mildred Lind, and brothers Donald and Charles.

Bill is survived by his sister Jorgine Matuszak, several nieces and nephews, caretaker and friend Vicki Leiss, close friends Ross and Jill Judnick, and his Vaux Road family.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday April 23, 2026, at 11AM at the Industrial Cemetery, Highway 8, Culver, MN. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home. 600 E. 2nd St. Duluth, MN 55805. 218-727-3555.
