Wiktoria Grochowski, 95, of Duluth, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday July 26, 2022. in Elysian Senior Homes of Duluth.  She was born in Rabka, Poland on September 21, 1926, to Michael and Maria Wsól.  Wiktoria was a member of the St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, the Rosary Society, and the Daughter’s of Isabelle.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and teaching traditional cooking with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Tadeuz, and a grandson Timothy Grochowski.

She is survived by her children Donna (Peter) Sosnowski, Edward (Kayline) Grochowski, Casimir Grochowski, Richard (Marilyn) Grochowski, and Joseph (Misty Plemons) Grochowski, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and her sister Genevieve Wojciak.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 3, 2022, from 9AM until the 10AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church.  Burial will be in Polish Catholic Cemetery.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home.  600 E. 2nd St. Duluth, MN 55805.  218-727-3555.
