Wade J. LaTour

Wade J. LaTour, 48, of Superior, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026, after a long battle with heart disease. Wade was born in Duluth on May 4, 1978, to George and Betty (Lepak) LaTour.

Wade graduated from Duluth Central High School and went on to work in various construction jobs throughout his career. Most recently, he worked for Viele Contracting, where he enjoyed working alongside his coworkers and frequently expressed his gratitude for the company.

Wade's greatest pride and joy was being a father to his two sons, Dylan and Wyatt. His passion in life was spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. If you couldn't find Wade, chances were he was near the closest body of water, doing what he loved most.

He was preceded in death by his father, George LaTour.

Wade is survived by his sons, Dylan and Wyatt LaTour; his mother, Betty LaTour; his sisters, Stacie (David) Turner and Mandy (Jason) Haburt; his longtime girlfriend, Sue Kutasevich; his nieces, a nephew, extended family, and friends; and his beloved dogs, Santana and Wylan.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Essentia Critical Care staff and Dr. Bhoopal for their compassionate care and support.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
