Timothy J. Peters

Timothy J. Peters, 80, of Proctor, passed away on Saturday March 15, 2025, at Solvay Hospice House. He was born in Duluth on Feb. 4, 1945, to Walter and Rose Peters. Tim graduated from Duluth Cathedral High School. He had worked as a Pipefitter for the Pipefitters Union Local 11. Tim was a member of St. James Catholic Church. He had run Grandma's Marathon, and he loved to river fish. His Catholic Faith was very important to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Gary, Terry, Mary Gail, Susie, David, Richard, Tony and Tom.

He is survived by his wife Janelle "Nellie", daughter Stacee (Josh) Tarbot, siblings Maureen (Ron) Crews, Kevin (Kim) Peters, Phil (Sue) Peters, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held in St. James Catholic Church from 10AM until the 11AM Funeral Mass on Thursday March 20, 2025, 721 N. 57th Ave. West, Duluth, MN 55807. The burial will be in Sunrise Cemetery. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E. 2nd St. Duluth, MN 55805. 218-727-3555.
