Thomas “Tim” J. Robinson, age 94 of Duluth passed away after a decade-long battle with Parkinson’s on September 19, 2023. Tim was born in Duluth on April 19, 1929, to parents, Charles & Mary (Boedigheimer) Robinson. He was a life-long Duluth resident, graduating from Cathedral High School in 1947. He married the love of his life, Lois Gudajtes on February 12, 1949. Together they raised 8 beautiful children. Tim worked at Diamond Tool & Horseshoe Company for 46 years. Tim’s quest for perfection made him the quintessential renaissance man. Renovating houses, learning to speak Spanish, or rewiring a church there was nothing Tim couldn’t do. The only thing more impressive than his can-do attitude, was his sense of humor – which he kept until the day he died. He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 60 years, Lois; son, William Robinson; beloved daughter, Rita Robinson; and 9 siblings.
Tim is survived by his children, Richard (Kathryn), Terry (Jim) Bellamy, Gary (Wanda), Paul (Sue), John (Mary), and Patrick; 16 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren; as well as many extended family members and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, October 7th at 10:00 a.m. with a visitation starting at 9:00 a.m. in St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 325 E 3rd St, Duluth, MN 55805. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to St. Mary Star of the Sea.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Keystone Bluffs, Aftenro, and Essentia Hospice for their loving care and dedication to Tim.
