Sonja "Sava" Ulvi

Sonja " Sava" Ulvi, 92, of Duluth, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 12, 2025, at the Solvay Hospice House. She was born in Duluth to Milan and Pearl Miscevich on February 3, 1933. Sonja graduated from Morgan Park High School. She was an active member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church and its ladies circle and was a VFW 6320 auxiliary life member.

Sonja is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Ray, brother Michael Miscevich, sister Mary Waterhouse, and sisters-in-law Elsie Spehar and Arlene Podgorsak.

She is survived by her children Lori Ulvi, and Mark (LeAnn) Ulvi, grandchildren Vanessa Anderson and Jon (Kara) Ulvi, great grandchildren Paislee and Maverick Ulvi, brother Sam Miscevich, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 10AM until 11AM at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church 1216 104th Ave. West, Duluth, MN 55808 funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.
