Shawn “Shamu” Wayne McArthur, 52, of Rice Lake Township, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday March 24, 2021. He was born in Duluth to Donald and Donna McArthur on February 4, 1969. Shawn was loved by everyone he met. He will be missed. He worked doing road construction and enjoyed driving his motorcycle. He loved children and his pets.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his brothers Michael (Mary Trea) and David “Scott” McArthur, and niece’s Ashley Spencer-McArthur and Christiana, and nephews Darren, Drew, and Chris Madden.
A Private Family Celebration of Shawn’s Life will be held. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home. 600 E. 2nd St. Duluth, MN
