Passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025 at the Veterans Home in Silver Bay, MN. Preceded in death by his wife, Joy; children, Diana Rust and Wes Sorensen. Survived by his sister, Barb; grandchildren, Grant (Morgan), Caitlyn (Dan) and Kristen (Luc). Funeral Service will be at 11:00am on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at The Waters Edge Community Church, 2202 West 3rd Street, Duluth, MN with a Visitation beginning at 10:00am. Burial at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Saginaw.
