Robert Klein

Robert John “Bob” Klein Jr., 79 of Duluth, passed away on Sunday August 15, 2021, at home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Buffalo, NY to Robert and Regina Klein Sr...  Bob enlisted in the Coast Guard right after High School and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer.  He had worked after retirement at Holy Rosary Catholic Church as head engineer.  He loved to ride snowmobile, was president of the Drift Toppers Snowmobile Club, and was a volunteer snowmobile safety instructor for many years.  Bob enjoyed RVing, was a small engine mechanic for the whole neighborhood, and enjoyed a cup of coffee with a good book.  He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gregory, and a brother-in-law Daniel Trenski.

Bob is survived by his wife Donna of 52 years, children Brian (Julie) and Gregory (Paula), 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sisters Joyce (Lance) Ortman and Karen Trenski.

Visitation will be held on Thursday August 19, 2021, from 10AM until the 11AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Catholic Church.  4901 E.
