Robert David Asperheim

Passed away on April 27, 2024 at the age of 83. He was born in Duluth to Selmer and Gertrude Asperheim. He graduated from Central High School and enlisted in the Airforce at the age of 18. He served for 20 years and retired from the Air National Guard in 1993. Bob then worked at Minnesota Power and retired after 30 years. In 1979 he married the love of his life, Joanne Ratajek. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and loved long trips with Joanne in the motorhome.  

Robert is preceded in death by his loving wife, Joanne; siblings, Betty and Roy and his parents. Survived by daughters, Amy of Pioche, NV, Vicky of Duluth, MN, and Abby of Henderson, NV; sister, Shirley; niece Jenny (Dennis) and their son, Conner; and many other loving family members and friends. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E. Second Street, Duluth with a Visitation beginning at 11:00am. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 218-727-3555.
