Randy Lynn Carlson

Randy L. Carlson, a lifelong resident of West Duluth, passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 67. He was born on June 7, 1959, in Duluth, Minnesota.

Randy graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1977. He was a proud lifelong West Duluth resident and was known for his love of the Green Bay Packers.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Charlene Carlson.

He is survived by his sisters, Robyn Carlson of Lakeville, MN and Wendy (Nicholas) Brown of Duluth, MN. Nephew Ryan Brown (Kari Anderson) of Cloquet, MN and niece Katie (AJ) Merritt of Grand Rapids, MN.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the hospice staff at Aspirus Health and to the caring staff at Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation for the compassion and care they provided to Randy.

Per Randy’s request, no funeral services will be held. A private burial will be held at a later date.
