Peggy Anderson

Peggy Jane Anderson (Bellefeuille) passed away peacefully at home on March 15, 2022 at the age of 71, after a 20 year battle with Parkinson's disease.  Her loving family was by her side.

Peggy was born in 1951 and she lived most of her life in Duluth and Lakewood Township.  She graduated in 1968 from Central High School.  She married Art Anderson in October 1968.  Together they raised three children.  Peggy enjoyed cooking, camping, bowling, spending time with family, and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also loved fishing, especially catching more than Art – which she did far more often than not.

Peggy was preceded in death by parents, Homer and Doris; and brother, Jerry. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Art; children, Scott, Chris (Nikki) and Teresa (Morgan) Austreng; grandchildren, Andy, Kaitlyn, Wyatt, Clay, Gretchen, Mallory and Scarlett; 8 great-grandchildren; her sister, Karen (Gail) Cone; and brothers, Marvin (Suzanne) Bellefeuille, and Jody (Susie) Bellefeuille; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Special thanks to St. Luke's Hospice, especially Tina and Pat; Dr. Lorraine Turner, Father Andrew Ricci, sisters-in-law Cheryll and Peggy, granddaughter Kaitlyn, and special friends Jean and Julie for their loving care and support.

A Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Monday, March 28th at Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home, 3208 W. 3rd Street, Duluth Home. The Visitation continues at the Funeral Home, Tuesday from 10am until the 11am Memorial Service.

Lunch will follow at Lakewood Town Hall, 3110 Strand Rd., Duluth.
