Patricia Marie Kasell, age 83 of Duluth passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on November 5, 2025. She was born in Virginia, MN to parents John and Cleo (Kostal) Yuhant on April 26, 1942. She was raised in Duluth and attended Central High School before moving to Hermantown and graduating in 1960. She married the love of her life, Jim Kasell, and together they raised their two boys, Tim and Tom. She worked for and retired as the Housekeeping Supervisor at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Pat was a proud and active member of several cherished organizations, including the All-American Club, Northern Knights Car Club, the Minnesota Street Rod Association (MSRA), and the Red Hat Society. Her vibrant spirit and love for life were evident in everything she did—from her famous chocolate cake, which will be dearly missed, to her joyful trips to the casino that brought laughter and lasting memories to all who joined her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Randy Rehbein; stepfather, Eric Lundin. Pat is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jim; sons, Tim (Tami Binkert), and Tom (Toni); 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Rehbein; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Novemebr 22nd from 1-4:00 p.m at VIP Pizza,1201 Tower Ave, Superior, WI 54880.
