Oliver Paul Chushenbery

Oliver Paul Cushenbery age 59 of Duluth Minnesota passed from this world on August 27 2025 surrounded by friends and family. He was proceeded in death by is mom and step dad Nancy and James Schairer, his nephew Kyle Sibert ,his grand parents, uncles and aunts. He is survived by Daughter Tyler Marie Johnsen of Minnesota, sisters Carol Gross (Darrell) of Georgia, Cora Schairer of Virginia and his brother Gerald Sibert (Kylie) of Virginia. 5 nieces and 3 nephews , aunts, uncles, cousins, step brothers and a big support group of friends.

Ollie was born in Jacksonville Florida on July 13, 1966 before moving to Norfolk Virginia where he grew up. He loved running and tumbling as a kid and into his adult years. He loved playing baseball in the yard with all the neighborhood kids or just racing everyone to prove he was the fastest. Ollie gave his all when it came to friendly competitions as he did with everything he did in life. Although he struggled with addiction most of his life he found peace over the last years and was working hard to stay clean thanks to his support groups and church. Ollie will be missed by many but his memories will live on in those he has touched.

Memorial service will be held September 21st at Peace United Church of Christ 1111 n 11th Ave E, Duluth,MN.

Visitation beginning at 1:30pm with service to follow at 2:30pm. Dessert Reception to follow.
