Olga "Susie" Rosenzweig

Olga "Susie" Rosenzweig died September 15, 2026 in Duluth, MN at the age of 100 and 8 months. She was born in 1927 to Berthold and Anna Kromer in Singen Hohentwiel, Germany. Along with her husband, Sascha "Joseph" Rosenzweig, she came to America, arriving in Duluth in 1950 and becoming a citizen in 1955.

Susie worked for Garon Knitting Mills in the early years and was a homemaker once the boys were born. As an accomplished cook in the kitchen, she and Joe hosted many evening meals for both friends and strangers who became lifelong friends. She also loved entertaining friends at her beloved Ol'Cottage in Gordon, WI. Susie was a member of the Zenith Chapter of Eastern Star, Officers Wives Club and Temple Israel.

Susie is proceeded in death by her parents, sister Elsa, husband Joe and son Alan. She is survived by her son Michael S. (Betsy), grandsons Mike of Minneapolis, Sam of Miami, niece Ute Weizsaecker (Wolfgang) and great niece Ellen and family of Germany.

A graveside service will be held at Temple Emanuel Cemetery, 4401 Woodland Ave, Friday, September 18, 2026, at 10:30AM. The meal of condolence and Shiva service will follow at Temple Israel,1602 East 2nd Street
