It is with deep sadness that we announce that Michael, at the age of 63, passed away at home on May 15th. He fought a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Duluth to Ronald and Frances Wiseman, living most of his life in the Clover Valley area. He was a devoted husband and loving father. He was a member of Laborers Local 1091, and worked for Levine and Sons, and Lakehead Constructors. He was not afraid of hard work. While working he also raised beef cattle for 20 years. He was friendly, and easy to talk to, and would go of his way to help anyone in need. He loved fishing, boating, camping, snowmobiling, and the outdoors. He enjoyed animals, children, and babies. Above all he loved his family. His smile, humor, and hugs will be missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Layne Charles Wiseman. Survived by his wife of 26 years and the love of his life, Pam; children, Kenneth, Brooke Spindler, Hunter and Lydia; grandchildren, Elise, Pearl, Ethan, Blake, and Elias; siblings, Jerelyn Wiseman and Lindee Kilen; and his true friend, Carl.
A special thank you to the medical staff at Essentia Cancer Center, and the nurses at the Fusion Center were always caring, upbeat, and personable.
