Mary Louise (Beaudry) Boisjoli, a cherished mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on November 8, 2025. She was born on June 20, 1932, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, to Mary (Hoolihan) Beaudry and Herbert (Bunny) Beaudry.
Mary graduated from Stanbrook High School in 1950. Shortly after, she followed her passion for skating and toured professionally with the Ice Follies. In October of 1951, Mary married Robert Boisjoli in Spokane, Washington. They celebrated seventy years of marriage together, raising a family of seven children.
Mary was an enthusiastic lover of the outdoors, finding joy in camping, skating, cross-country skiing, and gardening throughout her life. She was a dedicated member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for over fifty-five years and participated in the Rosary Society and choir at St. John's Catholic Church. Mary gave generously of her time, volunteering as a Girl Scout leader and teaching skating to young hockey players. She was well known for baking cookies and making popsicles for the neighborhood children.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her brother, John Beaudry; and her sister, Corrine Hood; and fomer daughter-in-law, Cornelia. She is survived by her siblings; Bill Beaudry, Bernadette Mahoney and Jane Lindborg; her seven children, Robert Jr., Wm Bruce, Michael (Gerry), James (Shauna), Susan (Tom) Sieger, Renee (Mike) Lyttle, and David (Kath). Mary also leaves behind grandchildren, Anna, Megan & Andrew; Jerod, James, Christopher & Marissa; Kyle, Michelle, Carley & Courtney; Kendra & Katie; Jacob, Joshua & Matthew; Kai, Jade & Alexa; great-grandchildren, Grace, Leah, Brody, Emma, Evalyn, Isabell, Addison, Sydney, Jack, Ellis, Aero, Annabelle, Brooklyn, Harlow, Leo, Sylvie, Haley, Annika, Axel, Sophie, Isley, Jackson, Finley, Gianna, Bernadette, Theodore, and Kollyns; former daughters in-law, Stephanie and Sherri.
She will be remembered for her faith, kindness, integrity, and deep love for her family, as well as her signature phrase: "I'm fine, I'm just fine." The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation for the compassionate care provided by St. Croix Hospice, Solvay Hospice House, and those who cared for mom at Marywood.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday November 20th at 11:00 AM with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church, 4230 St Johns Ave, Duluth, MN 55803. Interment at Forest Hill Cemetery. A livestream of Mass will be available at www.facebook.com/dfhduluth
