In cherished memory of Marvis who departed this world on August 26, 2023 after his life long battle with sickle cell disease, the bravery Marvis showed was a true testament to the beauty of life's journey, even in the face of adversity, pain, and sickness he showed us that the human spirit can shine brightest through the darkest of times. As his most important role as a dedicated stepfather and protective husband he exemplified the very essence of love and devotion to his chosen family, Wife Christien, and step children Heaven, Mark, Angel and Mahki. His gentleness and unwavering support created a home filled with love, laughter, understanding, and learning, a haven of comfort and solace. Marvis found endless beauty and cherished every waking hour within his dearly loved wife regardless of life's challenges Marvis was always at peace with Christien by his side as she was one of his life’s biggest blessings she stood by his side through sickness and through health, till death shall they part, Marvis’ last heartbeats and breaths were felt, witnessed and will be remembered forever by Mrs. Watts as she comforted Marvis at his bedside through his final hours, minutes and seconds of life. In remembering Marvis may many of his, relatives, friends, and those blessed to have known him celebrate a life rich in love, happy times, and tenderness. His legacy of resilience, strength, bravery and with love and compassion will forever inspire us to find beauty in every moment. As we bid farewell, but not goodbye may our Marvis find eternal peace, free from pain, stress, and may his memory continue to be a source of comfort, reminding us of the profound beauty that exists in the tapestry of life.
