Marlene T Sittarich

Marlene T. Sittarich, age 93, of Duluth, MN and formerly of Breckenridge, died on March 5, 2026.

Marlene was born December 13,1932 at Breckenridge,MN, the daughter of John and Clara (Faulkner) Sittarich. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1950 and St. Gabriel's School of Nursing in 1961. She was Sister Mary Jonathan Sittarich, O.S.F., while in Little Falls, before moving to Milwaukee where she worked as a Registered Nurse at Northwest General Hospital for several years. She then moved to Orlando, FL for a short time before making her move to Duluth. Marlene enjoyed crocheting rugs, dancing and trying her hand at the casino!

Marlene is survived by her son, Tim Sittarich, grandson, Eric Sittarich; her brother, Roman Sittarich, Lisbon, ND, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Kathryn and Madeline; five brothers, John (Jack), Clifford, Anthony, Robert, and an infant brother.

A graveside service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Breckenridge on Friday, November 13th at 12noon.
