Marjorie Rolfe

Marjorie Delos Milner Rolfe, age 95, of Duluth, died Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Chris Jensen Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Duluth April 27, 1918 to W. Delos and Lillian Marie (Pitt) Milner. Marj was employed by Duluth Trunk Co., and retired from Bagley & Company after 55 years. She was a lifelong member of Glen Avon Presbyterian Church, a member of Duluth Nordic Choir Ensemble and DAR. Marj also volunteered at the Duluth Depot. She was a beloved sister, sister-in-law, cousin and aunt. Marj loved her family, friends, music, travel, bunnies, pansies, chocolate and all things pink. Marj was preceded in death by her father, W. Delos Milner; her mother, Lillian Pitt Milner Rolfe; and papa, Ford A. Rolfe; brothers: F. Westmon (Alice), Howard (Polly), W. Pitt, and Ford (DeLaine) Rolfe; and sisters: Imogene Rolfe and Elizabeth (Joe) Josephson; niece, Julianne Ritz and nephew, Ronald Rolfe. She is survived by her sister Lillian (Tom) Ryan of Rockwall, TX; sister-in-law: Peggy Rolfe of Hopkins, MN; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may gather on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 12 noon until the 1 pm memorial service at Glen Avon Presbyterian Church Chapel, 2105 Woodland Avenue.
