Marie Lasky

Marie Joan Lasky, age 83, of Duluth, died Thursday, November 28, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital.  She was born February 2, 1936 in Virginia, Minn. to Matthew and Mary (Martinich) Lasky.  Marie was a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic church.  She had worked numerous jobs in the area.  Marie loved her weekly trips to Walmart with her beloved dog Nutmeg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Jim and Joe Lasky; and her sister Judy Richardson.  She is survived by her son Larry “Lars” (Beth) Lasky of Duluth; her grandchildren Majestic Lasky of Duluth and Elise Lund of Esko; and other family Bernie and Carl Lundberg.   VISITATION:  Monday, January 27th. from 12-1 PM, followed at 1 PM by the Memorial Service at Dougherty Funeral Home.  Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Duluth.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E.
