Lonny Hounsell

Lonny Steven Hounsell died peacefully in Solvay Hospice House on November 16, 2019 in Duluth, MN at the age of 60.  Lonny was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying his time at the family cabin in MacGregor, MN.  He looked forward to every hunting season with his brother and fishing with his grandchildren on Lake Minnewawa.

Lonny Hounsell is survived by his mother Louise Hounsell of Duluth, MN; son David (Jessica) Edstrom and their children Simone and Chloe of Columbia Heights, MN; his daughter Brandi Armstrong and her children Stephen and Alyssa of Minneapolis, MN; his sister Linda (Mike) Rippetoe of Fort Collins, CO; his brother Larry (Carol) Hounsell of Ham Lake, MN.  He is preceded in death by his father Lynn Hounsell of Duluth, MN.

A celebration of Lonny’s life will be held at a future date.  The family would like to thank Essentia St. Mary’s Hospice for all their care and support.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home
