Lois Gelineau

Lois M. “Bubbles” Gelineau, 93, a longtime Duluth resident, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday with family by her side in the Superior Rehabilitation Center.  She was born in Duluth on April 7, 1927 to Frank and Rose Strihalick.  Lois was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, and the Lois Club.  Lois loved traveling to Florida where she spent 30 plus winters with her husband Don.  She loved fashion, she took great pride in her appearance and in keeping a well-kept home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Sr., son Donald Jr., son-in-law Michael Konczak, sisters Lorraynne LeClair, and Geraldine UdClaire.

She is survived by her daughter Sharon Gelineau, grandchildren Michael (Amy) Konczak and Kimberly (Tom) Heinitz, two great-grandchildren Nore Ann Heinitz and Greyson Konczak, a sister Bette Gerval, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday April 8, 2021 from 10AM until the 11Am Funeral Service in Dougherty Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home.  600 E. 2nd St. Duluth, MN 55805.  218-727-3555.
