Linda Anesi

Linda L. Anesi, 68 of Hermantown, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday December 8, 2019 at home.  She was born in Superior, WI on May 5, 1951 to Norman and Fern Danielson.  Linda attended Superior Senior High School.  She married Tom Anesi on May 13, 1983 in Duluth, MN.  She retired from Northwestern Bell/US West in 2001 and was active with Communication Workers Union.  Linda and Tom own and operate Wine Tyme Winery in Superior.  She loved to go shopping, hosting football parties and celebrations for family and friends, she always decorated their home for every occasion, most importantly she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Yvonne Fry, brothers Bill and Ron “Sonny” Danielson, brothers-in-law Dave Hill and Earl Pattee.

She is survived by her husband Tom, children Danielle (Hector) Bustamante and Michael (Heather) Anesi, grandchildren Gabbi (Jesse Hill) Eilefson, and Mateo Saiz, great-granddaughters Harlee, Rylee, and Taylee Hill, brother George (Diane) Danielson, sisters Judy Hill, Denise (Loren) Keup, Debbie Danielson and Shelley Pattee, sister-in-law Barb Danielson, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday December 15, 2019 from 2PM to 4PM in Dougherty Funeral Home and will continue Monday December 16, 2019 from 10AM until the 11AM Funeral Service in the Funeral Home.  600 E. 2nd St. Duluth, MN 55805.  218-727-3555.  Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Park.
