Lillian Skadsberg

Lillian L. Skadsberg, 90, of Duluth, passed away on Sunday April 19 at Golden Oaks in Hermantown.  She was born in Iron Belt, WI on November 17, 1929 to John and Lilly Herlevi.  Lillian was a dedicated member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman Skadsberg, brother Richard Herlevi, son Denny Russell and grandsons Denny Jr., and Jamison Russell.

Lillian is survived by her children Emery “Paul”, Gary, Kayline (Ed) Grochowski, Jeffery “Scott” (Linda), Mark (Kitty), and Dean (Cathy), daughter-in-law Lilly Russell, 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, brothers Walter (Esther) Herlevi and Waino (Betty) Herlevi, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private family services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home. 600 E. 2nd Street, Duluth, MN 55805. 218-727-3555.
