Lillian Horvath

Lillian C. Horvath 88, of Duluth died on Thursday May 27, 2021 at Edgewood Vista.  She was born in Duluth in 1933 to Leo and Jessie Raymond.  Lillian was an active member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, singing in church choir and Rosary Society.  She was a former PTA member, Cub Scout Leader, Campfire Girl Leader, and Avon sales representative.  Lillian enjoyed crocheting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children Sing Chinn, her second husband Andrew Horvath, brothers Dennis and Allen Raymond, sisters Lorraine Niemi, Carol Legarde, and June Loften, grandson Erik Steele, and a son-in-law Larry Denniston.

She is survived by her children Sharon (Mark Barnes) Charbonneau, Joy Denniston, Jimmy Chinn, Kenneth Chinn, Brenda Chinn, Wendy (Scott) McFarlane, Robert (Lori) Chinn and Leah Foster, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brother Russell Raymond, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 1, 2021 from 5PM to 7PM with a 6:30PM Rosary Recitation in Dougherty Funeral Home.  Visitation continues Wednesday June 2, 2021 from 9AM until the 10AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church.  325 E. 3rd St. Duluth, MN 55805 Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home.  600 E. 2nd St. Duluth, MN 55805.
