Laura Krebs

Laura Josephine Krebs, 29 of Duluth, formerly of Fairfax, VA, passed away unexpectedly June 6, 2017. Laura was born in Brunswick, Maine, August 13, 1987, to Eric and Karlin (Long) Krebs.
Laura was a brilliant individual beyond compare; her magnetic presence truly lit up any room she entered. She was a scholar, an artist, a musician, a healer, a world traveler, our beauty. She loved her family and friends, and her beloved dog Emma. In May, Laura graduated Magna Cum Laude from UMD in Computer Science as the top student in her graduating Computer Science class. She recently started a new career she loved in medical software development, working at Physio Control in downtown Duluth. Laura shared so much love with us all: her family, friends, co-workers, and even strangers.
Laura was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Thomas Krebs, and uncle, Eric T. Long.She is survived by parents, Eric and Karlin; brother, Matthew; grandparents, John and Elouise Krebs, and Harry Thomas and Vyonne Long; uncle, Randy (Julie) Krebs, aunt, Louise (Trenton) Ziegler; numerous cousins, and friends.
Laura’s Celebration of Life will be 3 p.m., Saturday, June 17, 2017 with Visitation at 2 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Duluth, 835 W College Street, Duluth, MN 55811.
