Kathryn Ann Allmon

Kathryn Ann Allmon, 'Kat', age 70, of Duluth, passed away on November 1, 2025.

Kat was born on December 28, 1954, in , Sunnyside, Wa. She was raised by her loving parents Carl and Geneva (Parsons) Swanson.

A true rambler at heart, Kat lived in various cities throughout her life before eventually settling in Duluth. She loved tending to her garden and took great pride in using her homegrown vegetables in the kitchen. An outstanding cook, Kat worked at many restaurants over the years, sharing her culinary talents and passion for good food with everyone around her.

Known for her generous spirit, Kat would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need and feed anybody that was hungry. Her kindness extended to her beloved cats, especially her cherished companion, Bella.

Kat's greatest joy was spending time with her son, Ryan. She took great interest in his hobbies and life, and his untimely passing in 2010 brought her immeasurable grief.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Geneva Swanson, and her son, Ryan.

Kathy will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for those she held dear.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 22nd at 11:00 am in Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E Second Street, Duluth, MN 55805.
