Kathleen Marie Harlson

d. December 18, 2023

Kathleen Marie Harlson (64), passed away on December 18th, 2023, after courageously battling with COPD for many years. Kathleen was born September 28th, 1959, in Eau Claire, WI to Donald and Elaine (Anderson) Corrigan. Kathy grew up in Eau Claire and the surrounding area. Kathleen was a strong independent woman, homemaker, and single mother of four. Growing up in the middle of six brothers, hunting and fishing from a young age, Kathy always had a love for the outdoors and nature, often to be found hunting for walleye, bass or agates on some local beach. Kathy loved animals and pets of all kinds but had a special connection to chihuahuas and would find one by her side begging for a shot of Mello Yello.

Even after being a Duluth, MN resident for the past 31 years, on Sundays, you would find her with a pot roast in the oven and her routing on “The Pack”. If you found Kathy inside, she would be enjoying some arts and crafts or maybe a puzzle, possibly rearranging her furniture, but on the TV would be a religious program as she was a devout Christian and became very close with the Lord later in life.

Most of all, Kathy, mom, grandma, great-grandma, or sister loved to spend time with loved ones to celebrate triumphs, listen to woes, offer advice or just a hug. She was tremendously proud of her family and loved them all very much. As adversity was no stranger to Kathy, it tempered her. She became a rock for her family and a hero to her children and grandchildren.

Kathleen is preceded in death by father, Donald Hugh Corrigan; mother, Elaine Joyce (Anderson) Corrigan; brothers, Timothy, Daniel, Michael, Jody, and Shannon Corrigan.

Kathleen is survived by her brother, Brian Corrigan; children, Lisa (Jerry) Anderson, Joshua (Tammy) Corrigan, Reannin Harlson, and Carlie (Troy) Corrigan; grandchildren, Taylor (Charlie) Clark, Cody Clark, Dalton Clark, Madison (Nathaniel) Lee, Dakota Corrigan, Sienna Corrigan, Savanna (Jonathan) Pomeroy, Annika Gregg, Logan Carr, Destiny Corrigan, Nathaniel Carr, Alaina Mrotek; and great-grandchildren, Liam and Scerenity Davis.

Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home 600 E. 2nd St., Duluth, MN 55805 (218)-727-3555
