Joseph "Joe" Brohman

September 4, 1951 — January 27, 2024

Joseph W. Brohman, of Duluth, MN, passed away on January 27th, 2024, at Benedictine Health Center. Born to James and Eileen Brohman in Grand Rapids, MN on September 4th, 1951. 

After graduating high school, Joe joined the service, serving in both the United States Navy and Army. Upon returning home from his service, he set roots in Kansas, starting his life and his career as a bar/restaurant owner.

15 years ago, Joe made the decision to move back to his home state of Minnesota and settle in Duluth to be close to family. Living in Duluth, Joe was an active member at the Holy Family Catholic Church and could be found most nights on “the chair” watching whatever hockey or football game was on TV.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, James and Eileen; granddaughter, Tanya; and twin brother, John. 

He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Lynn Adams; son, Joseph Brohman Jr.; grandsons, Anthony and Alex Brohman; and granddaughter Trisha Levercom. 

Visitation will occur on Monday, February 12th at Holy Family Catholic Church at 10 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Internment to follow at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery – Duluth at 1 pm with military honors.
