John F. Parlin

Passed away on November 7, 2023 at the age of 65. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Jacqueline; and siblings, Robert and Roseanne. He is survived by his wife, Colleen; children, Sarah (Justin) Petite, Chad (Zenia) Parlin and Megan (Nate) Summers; grandchildren, Levi, Zamara, and Zadreich; his brother, Ken; and many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. He worked for many years as a truck driver for Gateway, Flemming, and then Mason Brothers. John enjoyed watching sports, especially football, Twins baseball and boxing. He was an avid outdoorsman and could be found hunting, fishing and spending time at the cabin. Most of all he loved his children and grandchildren, and loved spending time with them playing ball. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4pm on November 25, 2023 at the Rice Lake Town Hall, 4107 W. Beyer Rd. Duluth, MN 55803
