John Thomas Kane

John Thomas Kane, 73, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 14, 2026. He was born in Utica, New York, on April 23, 1953, to Roger and Alice Bogan Kane.

He graduated from Waterville Central School class of 1971 and went on to spend years in the Air Force and had a long career in Heating and Air conditioning.

He liked to ski, fish and cook especially grilling BBQ. He loved spending time in the mountains in Colorado, and in Panama.

Most importantly he loved to fish the local streams with his brothers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Ronnie, and Joe.

John is survived by his sons, Zach (Corinne), and Kyle (Amanda); grandchildren, Logan, Rylan, Kiley, and Alice; significant other, Ellie; siblings, Eddie, Larry (Shirley), and Pete (Liz); sister-in-law, Jill; and a special cousin Jack Fallon numerous, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be at a later time.
