John Foster Cosler

John Foster Cosler, age 65 of Duluth died on March 20, 2024. He was born in Waukegan, IL to parents, Albert & Jo Ann (Kopp) on April 23, 1958. John grew up in Duluth and graduated from East High School in 1976. After serving in the Army and Reserves, he started working for the US Postal Service as a mail carrier in Two Harbors, MN. John loved planting his spring flowers and was an avid Minnesota sports fan. He had a vivacious personality. John loved and was loyal to his lifelong friends. He adored his furbuddies, Tuxie & Charlie. 

John is preceded in death by his loving wife, Julie (Zimski) Cosler; parents; and stepfather, Al Weinberg. 

He is survived by his son, Vincent; siblings, Jim (Kellie) Cosler, Melissa (Dan) Gaylord, and Dana (Sharon) Cosler; and many extended family members and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
