Jeanine Marie Sill

Jeanine Marie Sill age 86 of Eau Claire and formerly of Duluth died peacefully at her home on March 29,2026. She was born in Duluth on June 4th,1939 to parents John and Sophie (Sojka) Ciesla. Jeanine always had a connection to water. She was born at home overlooking the lake. Jeanine married Howard Sill October 26,1957 they moved numerous times during her life some of her favorite spots were the Hayward lakes area. Howard and Jeanine ventured out to the southwest, making Santa Fe and most recently Albuquerque their home before returning to the Midwest. Graduate of Denfeld High School, she then attended Business school, was manager for several years at book world in Hayward. 

Throughout her life Jeanine found joy in the simple moments sharing stories, offering support, and creating memories that will be cherished by her family and friends. Her legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and love. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Jerry Ciesla. Jeanine is survived by her husband, Howard; daughter, Sherry (William) Bloomquist; grandchildren Sophie (Grant) Nonhof and Mason (Clare Regan) Bloomquist; great grandchildren, Cash, Tessa, and Sullivan, sister in law Charlene and several nieces and nephews.

A private service is being planned in June.

Jeanine will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
