Howard Ronald Sill

Howard Ronald Sill age 92 of Eau Claire, WI and formerly of Duluth, died on September 18, 2026, just 6 months after his beloved Jeanine. He was born in Rock Island, IL on January 19, 1934 to parents, Delbert Sill and Frances Peterson Colvin. He enlisted in the United State Air Force and proudly served his county in the Korean War. He married the love of his life, Jeanine Ciesla on October 26, 1957. Howard retired from the United States Postal Service after a 35-year career. During which time he served as the president of the local union chapter. Howard and Jeanine lived in various cities throughout the Southwest and Midwest. He found solace while working on projects outside. Many of his rosebushes are still blooming in Albuquerque.

Howard is preceded in death by his parents; wife; and two brothers, Delbert Sill Jr. and Earl Sill; He is survived by his daughter, Sherry (William) Bloomquist; grandchildren, Sophie (Grant) Nonhof and Mason (Clare Regan) Bloomquist; great grandchildren, Cash, Tessa, and Sullivan; sister, Charlene Flemming; and many extended family and friends.

A Private Graveside service will be held at Polish Catholic Cemetery in Duluth.
