Hannah Shalom Simiyu

September 12,1990-March 2, 2022

Hannah Shalom Simiyu, 31, passed away from heart failure on Wednesday March 2,2022 at St Luke’s Hospital with her mother Theresa, brother Garrett, and niece Hope by her side.

Hannah was born to Gideon Wanjala Simiyu and Theresa Ellen Simiyu on September 12, 1990. Hannah will be missed deeply by many. Her love for her kids and family was immeasurable. She was a beautiful, compassionate, and strong warrior. She lived out her faith in God and shared it zealously with anyone she ran into.

She was preceded in death by her brother; Brandon Simiyu, grandparents; Wayne and Iona Goldsmith, and Moses and Adah Simiyu.

Hannah is survived by her daughter; Imani Simiyu, brother; Garrett Simiyu, nieces and nephews; Hope Simiyu, Malachi Simiyu, Ezekiel Simiyu, Reginae Simiyu, mother; Theresa Dakota, father; Gideon Simiyu, and many family members and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 10-11 am, followed at 11 am with the Memorial Service at Duluth Gospel Tabernacle, 1515 W. Superior St., Duluth.
