Gregory Donald Coffield

Gregory Donald Coffield, age 61 of Duluth died in his home, surrounded by family on July 25, 2025. He was born in Minneapolis on October 28, 1963 to parents, Donald and Celia Coffield. Greg graduated from Bemidji High School in 1982. He then went to VoTech school in Bemidji for carpentry. His love of carpentry was constant throughout his life. He made things big and small. He used his talents to help build homes for habitat for humanity. Greg, along with his life partner, Elaine, found great solace in the outdoors. Their many trips to the BWCA will forever be cherished. Greg was also an avid geocacher well known in the local geocaching community. Greg’s strong faith in Jesus Christ carried him through many struggles in his life and allowed him to maintain a positive outlook regardless of challenges. He is preceded in death by his father Donald Coffield. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Wiggins; mother, Celia Coffield; and sister, Sherri McGillivray. Funeral Service will held on Friday, August 1st at 11:00 a.m. visitation at 10:00 a.m. in Dougherty Funeral Home. Interment at Oneota Cemetery.
