Gordon John Harris

Gordon John Harris, 91, of Duluth, died Friday, October 30, 2026 in Aspirus St. Luke’s Hospital. Gordon was born on February 3, 1935 in Duluth to John and LaVerne Harris. Gordon enlisted in the Army following high school and served in Korea. Following his service, Gordon worked for the US Postal Service in Duluth where he was a carrier and retired as a clerk. He was a member of St. Andrew’s by the Lake Episcopal Church, the VFW Post 137, American Legion Post 71 and the Korean War Veterans Association. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Raymond James Harris and a sister, Mildred Booker. Gordon is survived by his wife, Lu Ann; a son, Denby Harris; a sister, Marlene Corey of Auburn, CA; a brother, David (Debbie) Harris of Quartzsite, AZ; grandchildren, Nichole (Dan) Crum and Jeremy (Tabitha) Harris; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation 9:30 am until the 10 am memorial service Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at the St. Andrew’s by the Lake Episcopal Church, 2802 Minnesota Ave. Burial with Military Honors at the MN State Veterans Cemetery-Duluth.
