She was a married to Stanley for 65 years, she worked alongside him in the early years as his bookkeeper. They traveled the world together on many business trips that were achieved because of their hard work and dedication to their successful business.
Gen’s greatest joy was her seven children and later grand and great grandchildren. Gen spent these years raising their children with commitment and compassion, her countless hours of schoolwork and outside activities shows in the “family” environment she molded into her children. Gen loved to read, especially to her children and grandchildren, crosswords and puzzle books were one of her favorite challenges. She carried this love in caring for neighbors, friends and everyone who met her, whatever the situation, Gen was there to help and care in any way as if they were family.
Her door was open to all at any time, a cookie jar was always full of fresh muffins and cookies, her favorite, a jar of peanut M&M’s was always on her table. Gen’s home was filled with hundreds of Owl items that she collected in all her travels; everyone was numbered by the location she found it.
