Fay H Bennett

Fay H. Bennett, age 85 of Hermantown, MN died on November 14, 2023, in St. Lukes Hospital. She was born in Duluth, MN on February 06, 1938 to parents, Ben & Emma (Messerschmitt) Barber. Fay was a lover of all animals. Her property became a sanctuary for the birds and squirrels, where they literally ate out of the palm of her hand. She filled her house with various knick-knacks, most notably roosters in the kitchen.

Fay is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Vernon Barger, Joyce Castle, and Roberta Jackson; children, Lori Bennett & Lisa Carlson; and grandson, Doug Bennett. She is survived by her life partner, William Moore; daughter, Linda Grindle; brother, Rodney Barber; grandchildren, Tricia, Chris, Loni, and Nicole; as well as 15 great-grandchildren.
