Donald Prettyman

Donald H. Prettyman, 88, of Duluth, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022. Don was born December 17, 1933, in Indiana, to Merl and Alma Prettyman.

Don married Mary Ann Gay in Ashland, WI, September 15, 1959.

Don worked as a Soil Scientist for the US Forest Service, the University of Minnesota, and after retirement he started his own company.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeffrey; brothers, Roger, Robert, Richard, Ralph, and Ronald; sister, Doris Getz.

Don is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; daughter, Patrice Prettyman-Atkinson; brother, Theodore; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

There will be no services.
