Dee Edward Degerstedt

Dee Edward Degerstedt, age 90, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Duluth, Minnesota. He was born to Doris Engstrom Degerstedt and Edward Degerstedt on June 17, 1935, in Two Harbors, Minnesota. He had no siblings. He married Barbara Lea Bratt on June 21, 1958. They were very much in Love and Dee passed on the third anniversary of her death.

Dee attended Dunwoody College of Technology for carpentry and worked as a union carpenter his entire career, both in Duluth and Colorado Springs, Colorado where he lived from 1970 to 2001. A tall, gentle man, he was admired by many and will be missed by all.

Dee was preceded in death by his wife Barb; son, Tab; and grandson, Elijah. He is survived by his son, Guy (Janet) and granddaughter, Olivia.

A Celebration of Life will be held for both Dee and Barb at a date to be announced. Interment at Forest Hill Cemetery.
