Dale Robert Lindberg

Dale Robert Lindberg, age 73 of Duluth died on February 12, 2026. He was born on February 6, 1953 in Duluth to parents, Harvey and Georgina (Hood) Lindberg. A lifelong Duluthian, Dale graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1971, earned his electricians certificate from Lake Superior College, and worked for ME Global in Gary until his retirement. Dale was a man of practicality, grit, and quiet brilliance. There was nothing he couldn’t build, fix, or figure out. He built his own house, fixed his own cars, and was proud to be in his brother, Randy’s pit crew. Dale believed in working hard so he could relax well. He liked things to stay the same. The root of his stubbornness was his reliability, dependability, and love of the present. All traits that made him a great son, brother, and dad.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Paul Lindberg; and brother, Randy. He is survived by his son, Nick; former spouse, Ann (Robert) Holden; brother, Dave (Phyllis) Lindberg; sister-in-law, Bonne (Tim) Rowe; nieces and nephews, Jim & Emily Lindberg, Angie & Mya Hugdahl, Kaytie & Emmet Mitzner, and Jake (Cassy) Teddy & Ellie Lindberg; and many extended family and friends.

A Visitation will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24th at Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E Second Street, Duluth, MN 55805.
