Dale Roger Bohren

Dale Roger Bohren, age 62, of Cloquet, Minnesota, passed away on October 29, 2026, at Aspirus St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, with his family by his side.

Dale was born June 3, 1964 and grew up in Esko. He attended Duluth Vo-Tech and moved to Minneapolis, beginning a more than 40-year career with Pitney Bowes. His career brought him to Aberdeen, SD, where he started his family. In 2002, Dale and his family returned to the Cloquet area.

Outside of work, he found joy in working on cars and projects at home, riding motorcycles, gardening and spending time with the animals he loved. Above all else, he was devoted to his family, always putting them first.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Delores (Hilton) Bohren.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, Alene (Schafer) Bohren; daughters, Carson Bohren (Daylen Steward) and Madison Bohren; brother, Scott (Marianne) Bohren; and many friends and extended family members.

Dale will be remembered for his steady presence as a husband and father, and for the quiet ways he showed care for the people and things that mattered most to him. He made friends easily and always held them close in his heart.

The family would like to thank the staff at Aspirus St. Luke's for their thoughtful and compassionate care for Dale, as well as the staff at Dougherty Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Dale's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2026, with visitation one hour prior, at Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E 2nd Street, Duluth, MN 55805.
